Who am I?
As a proud Asian American and an enthusiastic nerd, I've always found joy in the rich tapestry of storytelling. I'm a father of four incredible kids who inspire me every day to dream big and share those dreams through my writing. Although my journey as an author has only just begun, I've carried stories within me for as long as I can remember.
My diverse collection of LitRPG, Xianxia, and Kidlit stories reflects my passion for adventure, culture, and family. Join me as I explore new worlds and bring fantastical tales to life, inviting readers of all ages to embark on exciting literary journeys with me.
Why a webpage?
While I might be new to publishing written stories, my journey as a content creator spans various media over the years. I've witnessed platforms rise and fall, and seen the hottest trends fade into obscurity or become controversial. By publishing on my own website, I can ensure the longevity of my work and maintain control over my creative content without worrying about it being lost to the ever-changing tides of online trends.
The purpose of this website is to craft engaging short stories as I hone my writing skills, with the ultimate aim of feeling confident enough to pen a novel, or perhaps even an entire series.. So I'd love some feedback, comments on the stories, emails or even reach out to me on social media.
What's with the Name?
For the past two decades, I've used the handle Overgrownasian, a nickname given to me by a friend, as many memorable nicknames often are. It's a name that generates a common question from people online: "Isn't that name a bit offensive?" Allow me to clarify—I'm a proud Asian American, and standing at 6'5" while also being more rotund than the average bear, I truly embody the term "Overgrownasian" in the most literal sense.
